Ellidy Pullin Enjoys European Yacht Holiday Amidst Family Name Dispute

Ellidy Pullin recently shared glimpses of a lavish European yacht holiday on her social media, a trip that occurred days after she announced her engagement to Brock Wadsworth. The influencer's posts come amidst a public disagreement with Chris Pullin, the father of her late fiancé, Alex 'Chumpy' Pullin.

Pullin, who gained public attention after harvesting her partner's sperm posthumously following his death in 2020 and subsequently giving birth to their daughter Minnie, has become estranged from Chris Pullin. Her recent Instagram post, featuring photos with Wadsworth and friends on a yacht in the Mediterranean, included the caption, "Minding my own bloody business and being stoked on life with my people, everyone should try it." This statement is seen by some as a response to Chris Pullin's recent comments.

Chris Pullin had publicly expressed his dissatisfaction with Ellidy continuing to use the Pullin surname after her engagement. He stated to the Daily Mail that he "hates" that she retains his family's name despite not being married to his son, suggesting she should change it to Wadsworth. "She is a Pullin, but she's not," he reportedly said. "They weren't married. I hate it, but what do I do? All I can say is, 'What would Chumpy think about that?'"

He further elaborated on the family's connection to the name, stating, "The Pullin family is very much still in existence. There are about 30 of us." Chris Pullin also noted that Ellidy has limited contact with most of the family, aside from Chumpy's sister.

Ellidy and Alex 'Chumpy' Pullin were in a long-term relationship until his death at age 32 in a spearfishing accident in 2020. Following his passing, Ellidy underwent a posthumous sperm retrieval process and later changed her surname from Vlug to Pullin via deed poll, although she had not been married to Chumpy.

Her relationship with Chris Pullin and his wife Sally was reportedly supportive in the past, but has fractured in the years since the birth of their daughter, Minnie. Chris Pullin has claimed that Ellidy had blocked the family on social media and did not offer private condolences after his wife Sally's death in April 2025, though Ellidy did post a public tribute to Sally weeks later.

Ellidy announced her engagement to Gold Coast builder Brock Wadsworth last Wednesday, less than a year after they publicly confirmed their relationship. She shared the news on her podcast 'Darling, Shine!', describing her feelings of happiness and acknowledging the initial guilt she felt about moving on after Chumpy's death. She stated she had contemplated the decision for nearly a year before becoming serious with Wadsworth.
