South Wales Police have released body-worn camera footage capturing the apprehension of Nahro Gharib, 25, who was attempting to evade law enforcement while disguised as a food delivery courier. The incident occurred as officers observed Gharib "making an exchange."

Gharib fled the scene on a bicycle, which police later determined was capable of reaching speeds of up to 59 mph (95 km/h), significantly exceeding the legal limit of 15.5 mph.

At Newport Crown Court, Gharib was sentenced to 20 months in prison and received a 17-month driving disqualification. He pleaded guilty to several charges, including supplying cannabis, possession with intent to supply cocaine and cannabis, possessing criminal property in the form of cash, and operating a motor vehicle without insurance.
