The suspect accused of driving an SUV into a Los Angeles Metro bus, resulting in two fatalities, was found with narcotics, investigators reported. Bailee Lynn Rios, 36, was discovered with methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia following the crash on Tuesday.
Rios missed a court appearance Thursday as she remains hospitalized with injuries sustained in the collision. She is facing murder charges in connection with the incident. The crash, which killed two people and injured several others, occurred in Chatsworth.
