Former CNN anchor Don Lemon joined a group of anti‑Trump activists on Tuesday when they entered the office of Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R‑Ga., demanding a meeting and pressing for the impeachment of former President Donald Trump, video posted to X shows.

The footage, posted by journalist Ford Fischer, shows several protesters at Greene’s front desk and a man identifying himself as Carlos Alvarez, who said he is the founder of American Opposition. "We would like to make sure she knows that we need to get Donald Trump impeached and out of office," Alvarez told a staffer. He added, "I’m sure you’ve seen the protests on the streets and the Tesla boycott and all of that. We were one of the organizations that started that." Lemon stood beside Alvarez holding a microphone and recording the exchange.

A Greene staffer entered the room and instructed the group to stop recording, saying, "This is a private office." Alvarez pushed back, replying, "Yes, and we’re here to see the congresswoman." The video shows the encounter continuing briefly before the protesters were removed from the office.

The confrontation took place in Greene’s Washington office. Greene represents a conservative district in Georgia and has been a frequent target of demonstrations by opponents of former President Trump and his allies; the video does not show Greene herself. Don Lemon, who left CNN and now hosts a show on YouTube, appeared in the video as an on‑site documentarian for the activists.

The activists’ statements referenced recent public demonstrations and a Tesla boycott that they said their organization helped initiate. The footage provides a real‑time record of the exchange between the group and Greene’s staffer and was circulated on social media following the incident.

The video posted to X by Fischer is the primary publicly available record of the interaction. The record does not include any public comment from Greene or her office in the footage. The immediate aftermath of the removal, including any follow‑up requests for meetings or official responses, was not visible in the posted clip.
