A dog that went missing a month ago has been found safe with revelers celebrating Mexico's World Cup victory in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas. Ale Garcia's dog, Gorda, disappeared on May 24 in the Lomas de Guadalupe neighborhood.

Weeks passed without any sign of Gorda until videos began circulating online showing fans celebrating Mexico's 3-0 win against the Czech Republic. In one video posted to a local Facebook page, a fan was seen carrying a dog through the streets with the caption, "Even the dog is out celebrating." Garcia's brother recognized the dog as Gorda and, using landmarks in the video's background, the family was able to locate Gorda among the celebrating crowds.

The reunion was emotional for Garcia. "After a month of worrying, I never imagined we'd find her thanks to a live video of the celebrations after Mexico winning," she told local reporters. "It was a mix of emotions: I wanted to cry, to laugh, to hug her and even to scold her at the same time. While we were worried looking for her, she was out partying!"

Gorda was taken to a veterinarian, who confirmed she was in good health and only needed food and rest. She has since returned home with Garcia. The dog's unexpected adventure and happy reunion have garnered attention online, with many users expressing delight over the outcome and humorously commenting on Gorda's celebratory escapades.
