Disney has agreed to a $50 million settlement to resolve claims that its practices impacted streaming subscription prices for YouTube TV and DirecTV subscribers. The settlement, which does not involve an admission of wrongdoing or liability by Disney, aims to compensate two groups of subscribers.

To be eligible for a portion of the settlement, individuals must have purchased a YouTube TV subscription between April 1, 2019, and March 31, 2026. Additionally, subscribers to DirecTV's streaming live pay TV services, including DirecTV Stream, DirecTV Now, and AT&T TV Now, within the same date range are also eligible.

Certain individuals are excluded from the settlement, including Disney employees, officers, directors, legal representatives, heirs, successors, subsidiaries, affiliates, counsel for the parties and their employees, and judicial officers, their immediate family members, and court staff involved in the litigation.

A similar case involving Disney's alleged impact on FuboTV subscription prices remains ongoing and is not part of this settlement.
