Dior creative director Jonathan Anderson has shared his experience designing Taylor Swift's wedding dress, calling the process "emotional."

Swift married NFL star Travis Kelce in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The couple announced their marriage via video advertisements within the venue that read "JUST & T MARRIED," a reference to their shared initials.

Swift and Kelce wore custom Christian Dior Haute Couture for the occasion. Swift's dress featured a "long, veiled train" and was described as "stunning," according to a press release from Swift's publicist, Tree Paine. The couple's shoes were custom-made by Christian Louboutin, and Swift wore Cartier jewelry.

Anderson told WWD that working with Swift was "a joy" and that they "became very good friends." He noted that "It's an emotional thing doing someone’s wedding."

This was not Anderson's first foray into bridal design for Dior; he had previously created two couture bridal gowns for Chinese model Ming Xi and Brazilian fashion influencer Elisa Zarzur. Swift had hinted at her choice of designer prior to the wedding, wearing several Anderson-designed Dior bags that differed from her usual accessory choices.

The wedding was attended by numerous celebrities, including Selena Gomez, Sabrina Carpenter, Lena Dunham, Steven Spielberg, Karlie Kloss, Bradley Cooper, and Gigi Hadid. Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, and Swift's brother, Austin Swift, served as her "man of honor."

Madison Square Garden was transformed for the event, with decorations including towering trees, emerald drapery, and archways resembling a chapel. The entrance featured framed photographs of Swift and Kelce throughout their relationship, alongside a "T and T" logo. Kelce's brother, Jason Kelce, was his best man.
