NFL reporter Dianna Russini recently "liked" an Instagram post that satirized Brittany Mahomes. This action occurred shortly after Russini and Mike Vrabel, the New England Patriots head coach, along with his wife Jen, attended the wedding of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce.

The post in question, created by writer and comedian Taylor Wolfe, depicted a skit where Brittany Mahomes repeatedly asks an off-screen Patrick Mahomes about sharing wedding photos. The skit also mentioned other attendees, including Hugh Grant, Miranda Lambert, and Madonna. Wolfe's post garnered over 60,000 likes on Instagram.

Russini's 'like' on the post has resurfaced discussions surrounding her alleged affair with Vrabel. The controversy first gained public attention in March when the New York Post published images suggesting Vrabel and Russini were together at a resort in Arizona. Vrabel, who is married to Jen, faced accusations of an affair with Russini, a former NFL insider for The Athletic.

Russini, who is also married, has denied any wrongdoing and maintained the integrity of her reporting on Vrabel. Following the accusations, she was placed on leave at The Athletic before eventually resigning from the publication, which is owned by The New York Times.

Further photographic evidence emerged in April, reportedly showing Vrabel and Russini kissing at a Manhattan bar in March 2020. Russini married Kevin Goldschmidt, an executive at Shake Shack, in September 2020 and has two sons with him. The Daily Mail also published photographs from 2021 of Vrabel and a pregnant Russini on a boat in Tennessee, at a time when Vrabel was coaching the Titans and Russini was covering the team for ESPN.

Vrabel addressed the allegations before the NFL Draft in April, stating that he had caused a "distraction to the people that I care most about, my family, this football team, the organization and our fans." He subsequently missed the third day of the draft to attend a family counseling session.

Vrabel and his wife Jen were observed attending the wedding at Madison Square Garden on Friday. This appearance marked the first time the couple had been publicly seen together since the affair rumors surfaced.

Vrabel's connection to Travis Kelce is primarily through their shared involvement in the NFL. Vrabel played for the Kansas City Chiefs until 2010, several years before Kelce joined the team in 2013. Since then, Vrabel has coached against Kelce multiple times. Earlier on Friday, the New York Post published photographs of Vrabel and Jen arriving at Manhattan's Langham Hotel, with Vrabel carrying shopping bags and Jen smiling as she exited their vehicle.
