Demi Moore has reportedly secured a substantial pay raise for the third season of the Paramount+ series "Landman," a drama from "Yellowstone" creator Taylor Sheridan.
Moore, who portrays Cami, the wife of oil executive Monty (Jon Hamm) in the series, is now said to be earning between $740,000 and $770,000 per episode. This increase is attributed to an atypical two-year contract that allowed her to renegotiate her salary ahead of the third season. Her new earnings will reportedly match those of co-star Billy Bob Thornton, who plays the series lead.
This pay increase comes as Moore was seen in Paris for Haute Couture Fashion Week, attending a fitting at the Balenciaga showroom. She was photographed leaving the showroom carrying a £3,400 Rodeo handbag.
The actress's future on "Landman" had been a subject of speculation following the second season's conclusion. The season finale featured an intense power struggle between Moore's character, Cami, and Tommy (Thornton), leading to their professional separation. This storyline raised questions about Cami's continued presence in a series primarily focused on Tommy's journey.
When asked in January about Moore's potential return for season three, co-creator Christian Wallace offered a non-committal response, stating in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter that there were "so many different opportunities and ways this can play out." He deferred decisions about character storylines to Sheridan.
"Landman" centers on Tommy, an executive for a Texas oil company who rises to become president of the firm. Jon Hamm portrayed the company's owner Monty in the first season, with Moore playing his wife Cami, who later succeeds Monty. Thornton, who had a three-year contract, is reportedly unable to enter negotiations for a salary increase until after the third season, contingent on the show's renewal for a fourth.
