A Delaware dance teacher has been arrested and charged with the sexual abuse of two teenage students at X-Treme Dance Studio in Laurel, authorities announced Thursday.
Emily Pryor Albino, 23, of Seaford, Delaware, faces four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person in a position of trust and felony sexual solicitation of a child via an electronic device. She was taken into custody by the Delaware State Police.
Investigators have stated that Albino exchanged explicit messages with the two victims. Authorities are looking into the possibility that additional students may have been abused and have not yet come forward. The Delaware State Police indicated that they have reason to believe there are more victims.
Following her arraignment, Albino was held on a $110,000 bond. Representatives from X-Treme Dance Studio and Delaware state investigators were not immediately available for comment.
