A 23-year-old dance instructor in Seaford, Delaware, has been arrested and charged with multiple felony counts related to the alleged sexual abuse of underage students. Emily Pryor Albino was taken into custody by Delaware State Police on Thursday, August 7, 2026.

Albino faces four counts of first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust and one count of sexual solicitation of a child using a computer, cell phone or other electronic device. Investigators initiated a probe into Albino on Tuesday, August 5, 2026, after receiving reports that she had sexually abused two students at X-Treme Dance Studio in Laurel, where she works.

During the investigation, police determined that Albino allegedly exchanged sexually explicit messages with her victims. Authorities believe there may be additional victims and are seeking public assistance to identify them.

X-Treme Dance Studio offers classes for all ages, from toddlers to adults. Social media posts indicate Albino worked with her mother and sister as instructors at the studio, though neither is implicated in any wrongdoing.

Albino was committed to the Delaware Department of Corrections on a $110,000 cash bond. If convicted, she faces significant potential prison sentences. Each first-degree sexual abuse of a child by a person of trust charge carries a penalty of up to eight years to life in prison, depending on the specifics of the crime. The sexual solicitation charge could result in up to 15 years if the exchanges were strictly online, or up to 25 years if the defendant met or attempted to meet the child in person for a prohibited sexual act.

The Delaware State Police criminal investigations unit is continuing the investigation in conjunction with the Delaware Department of Justice. The ages and genders of the alleged victims have not been released.
