Declan Donnelly, known for co-hosting ITV's "I'm a Celebrity, Get Me Out of Here!," has obtained planning permission to make modifications to a party area adjacent to his West London home. The modification involves a modest increase in the parapet height of the structure, which Donnelly purchased three years ago for £2.25 million.

Hounslow Council planners have approved the request to raise the parapet by approximately eight inches, ensuring that the changes maintain "high quality and conservation-appropriate architectural detailing." Council documents state that the variation is limited in scope and does not alter the approved footprint, use, or overall form of the extension, nor does it negatively impact the character of the nearby conservation area.

The party space is already equipped with a custom-built bar, a vintage mirror, a fireplace, and bespoke seating. Donnelly, 50, who co-hosts with Ant McPartlin, has an estimated net worth of £62 million. He resides in his £7 million mansion with his wife, Ali Astall, and their two children. The couple's main residence was the target of a burglary attempt in Easter 2021, though the intruders left empty-handed.

This development comes as McFly star Tom Fletcher has been recognized for his work on the musical "Paddington," which recently won seven Olivier Awards. Fletcher, however, downplayed his musical talents, stating he is a "terrible musician."

Elsewhere, Sarah Beeny, star of "Property Ladder," is preparing to launch her own YouTube channel focused primarily on home-related topics. She noted the challenges of securing sponsorship for content creation outside of a home studio environment.

Dame Meera Syal has advised younger women against cosmetic procedures such as Botox and Ozempic, calling them detrimental to an actress's career. Syal, 65, praised actresses like Lesley Manville and Juliet Stevenson for embracing natural aging, stating, "It's beautiful to see an older face that is reflecting every life experience."

Actress Georgina Castle, 33, and her husband, West End actor Simon Lipkin, 40, have welcomed their first child, a daughter named Birdie Wilde Lipkin. The couple, who met while performing in "Elf The Musical" in 2022, shared the news on Instagram, expressing their joy.

In related news, Prince Harry's reported ambitions to create a film about his mother, Princess Diana, may face competition from a newly launched documentary series on the streaming app Snips. Titled "Diana," the series uses archival recordings of the late princess and is described as drawing parallels between Diana's struggles and the Sussexes' ongoing issues with royal institutions.
