David Beckham and basketball legend Michael Jordan shared a meal together on the coast of Ibiza.
The pair embraced upon reuniting before heading to the Casa Jondal beach restaurant. Beckham arrived by speedboat with his wife, Victoria, who was seen wrapping her hand around her husband as they reached the shore. Jordan was accompanied by his wife, Cuban model Yvette Prieto.
Also present at the lunch were David and Victoria's son Romeo and his girlfriend, Kim Turnbull. Jordan and Beckham have been friends for years; Beckham famously chose Jordan's jersey number 23 when he joined Real Madrid in 2003. Beckham has previously recounted being star-struck upon meeting Jordan, recalling a moment where his wife had to tell him to stop being embarrassing.
Both athletes have transitioned into sports ownership since retiring from their playing careers. Jordan holds a minority stake in the Charlotte Hornets and co-owns NASCAR's 23XI Racing, while Beckham has ownership stakes in Inter Miami and Salford City FC.
The Beckham family is currently vacationing on their 130-foot yacht, Seven, which they purchased in 2022. The vessel, named after David Beckham's iconic football number and their daughter Harper's middle name, accommodates ten guests and seven crew members. It features a spa bath, a large garage with water toys, and a jet ski.
Notably absent from the family outing was their eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, who reportedly has been estranged from his parents. Reports indicate Brooklyn has avoided public acknowledgment of family events and has sought to limit communication with his parents, with legal representatives involved in their correspondence. Brooklyn released a statement earlier this year denouncing his parents and stating he was no longer part of 'Brand Beckham,' citing alleged control and attempts to drive a wedge between him and his wife, Nicola Peltz Beckham.
