Dara Huang, 43, an American architect and the mother of Christopher Woolf "Wolfie" Mapelli Mozzi, son of Princess Beatrice's husband Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, has ignited engagement rumors. Huang shared a black-and-white image on her Instagram account showcasing a prominent diamond ring on her left hand, accompanied by the caption, "Kinda chic to still believe in love."

Huang, who was previously engaged to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi and shares their 10-year-old son, Wolfie, also posted, "It's kinda chic to not be afraid. Be your own destiny and start over any time! I became a single mom at 37, and I started my second company at 40, and I've just started working on my biggest challenge. So chase your dreams, do your best everyday, love like there's no tomorrow and don't think life is over when it's only just begun."

The photograph also revealed an additional band beneath the large diamond ring. Huang and Mapelli Mozzi were engaged in 2017, a year after they met, and welcomed their son in 2018, shortly before their relationship ended. Mapelli Mozzi later became engaged to Princess Beatrice.

Despite the past relationship, Huang has spoken of an amicable co-parenting dynamic, telling Harper's Bazaar previously, "Wolfie has had two sets of parents trying to help him on both sides, and I just think, 'The more, the merrier.'" Wolfie has increasingly appeared alongside the Royal Family at public engagements, including the Princess of Wales's 2023 carol concert and the late Queen's Platinum Jubilee pageant in 2022.

Huang, whose father was a NASA rocket scientist, holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Florida and a master's in architecture from Harvard. She established her architecture and interior design company, Design Haus Liberty, in 2013, and later founded Vivahouse. Her architectural work includes projects for the Tate Modern Museum in London and the Tribeca skyscraper in New York.

She became a British citizen in January 2022. In response to Mapelli Mozzi's engagement to Beatrice, Huang expressed well wishes for the couple and a desire to unite their families.

Recent reports also linked Huang romantically with film director Brett Ratner. Huang has stated that their relationship is strictly platonic, describing Ratner as "only friends."
