Dane Bowers, known for his past relationship with Katie Price, is preparing for a significant back operation due to ongoing pain that has impacted his sleep and daily life.
The singer revealed on TikTok that he will undergo spinal fusion surgery, a procedure involving joining two or more vertebrae. Bowers stated that he needs screws inserted into his discs and will have a CT scan to assess if further bone removal is necessary.
This decision followed Bowers seeking a second opinion from another surgeon after receiving his initial diagnosis. He expressed relief at obtaining a second opinion, which he found to be the path he wanted to pursue. "It does mean I am cancelling my operation with the other doctor and I am really happy I did it," Bowers shared.
Bowers anticipates that the surgery will lead to some life changes, but he hopes it will alleviate the chronic ache and pain he experiences in his left leg and foot. "At the minute I find it hard to sleep, so fingers crossed the other side of this will be a lot better," he said.
Bowers, who relocated to Dubai and works as a DJ and musician, appears in Katie Price's new Sky documentary, "Katie Price: Nothing To Hide." The documentary touches on their past romance and includes Price reflecting on a falling out with Victoria Beckham during that period.
