Crystal Hefner, widow of Playboy founder Hugh Hefner, has publicly identified actor Jon Lovitz as a frequent and unwelcome presence at the Playboy Mansion. On Tuesday's episode of the "Lisa Guerrero Unleashed" podcast, Hefner described Lovitz as the mansion's "No. 1 customer" and characterized him as "one of the biggest pervs" in Hollywood.
Hefner recounted that Lovitz "would be up there all the time," observing that "his eyes would go front to back [looking at] all the women that walked through the door at the party." She also referred to the "Saturday Night Live" alum as a "lurker" and mentioned that his dog "peed all over the place."
This is not the first time Hefner has made these claims about Lovitz. In July, she made similar accusations after Lovitz left a critical comment on her Instagram video discussing her "regrets" about marrying Hugh Hefner. In his comment, Lovitz questioned her motives for marrying Hefner, asking if she regretted the house Hefner bought her, the money she made selling it, her mother's presence at the mansion, and if she regretted leaving and then returning to marry him.
At the time, Hefner responded to Lovitz's comment, stating that he was the "biggest customer" and that while people often assume her marriage was financially motivated, it overlooked her personal experiences. She expressed disappointment that someone who had enjoyed the environment of the mansion would criticize her for speaking honestly about her life.
Crystal Hefner, who was 26 when she married the 86-year-old Hugh Hefner in 2012, remained with him until his death in 2017. She recently claimed in her 2024 memoir, "Only Say Good Things: Surviving Playboy and Finding Myself," that she felt "brainwashed" during her marriage. The memoir also details allegations of sexual assault by Hugh Hefner and his alleged attempts to coerce the Shannon twins into sexual activity with each other.
Lovitz's representative did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Podcast host Lisa Guerrero also shared her own experiences as a Playboy model, recalling the frequent presence of actor Ed Begley Jr. and other stars from the 1980s and 1990s at the mansion.
