Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has publicly defended his fiancée, Georgina Rodriguez, after she became the target of online criticism regarding her body.
Rodriguez recently posted on Instagram addressing comments made about photos of her in a bikini on Ronaldo's yacht. "Lately, I’ve seen all kinds of comments about some photos of me on a boat," she wrote, according to a translation. "Some people comment on my body, while others defend me."
She shared a conversation with Ronaldo where she expressed concern about being called fat, especially given her career. Ronaldo responded by reassuring her, stating, "You don’t live off your image. You live off who you are. A perfect woman. Beautiful, with a killer body, a mother, a good person, successful, and someone who lives life with love. What more could you want? It’s natural for people to envy you."
Rodriguez also spoke about her appreciation for her body, particularly after having six children, emphasizing that it deserves "respect, love, and gratitude in every version of itself."
Ronaldo, whose own physique is frequently scrutinized, offered his support to his fiancée amidst the public commentary.
