Cooking influencer Joel Yukich has died suddenly at the age of 35 following a medical event, a loved one announced on his Facebook page, Blokes Can Cook Too.

Yukich, who was based in New Zealand, had gained over 116,000 followers by sharing content that documented his fishing, hunting, and cooking adventures. The post described him as "the loudest and brightest light in every room he went into."

One of Yukich's close friends, Keegan, shared details about their long-standing relationship, noting they had known each other since childhood. Keegan recounted how Yukich conceived the idea for the "Blokes Can Cook Too" page around 2017, with Keegan assisting with the technical aspects of content creation.

Yukich was married to Alanna Hussey, and the couple had four sons together. Hussey expressed her profound grief in a personal Facebook post, stating that her "world had changed forever" and that she was struggling to process the reality of his passing. She remembered Yukich as an "amazing dad to his four boys, an incredible partner and someone who would do anything for the people he loved."

Hussey also highlighted Yukich's passion for hunting and cooking and his enjoyment of connecting with others through his online platform. She described the silence left by his absence as "unbearable" and asked for thoughts to be with his sons and family during this difficult time.

The specific cause of Yukich's death has not been officially confirmed. His family and friends are requesting privacy as they navigate their grief.
