Abbie Manning, 30, has established a personal concierge business that caters to wealthy individuals, offering a range of services designed to manage their personal lives and luxury properties. Manning, who previously worked as a superyacht stewardess, launched her company, S.W V.I.P Concierge, in November 2023 after identifying a market gap for high-end services outside of major cities.

Her services encompass a broad spectrum of personal assistance, including managing luxury homes, coordinating tradespeople, booking travel, handling schedules, planning events, and running errands. One of her more unique offerings, which has garnered significant online attention, is unpacking grocery deliveries for clients at their holiday homes. Manning explained that this service allows clients to arrive and immediately begin their vacation without the need to shop or unpack.

"For a lot of people travelling down on holiday, especially families or people staying in high-end holiday homes, it's a huge luxury to arrive with the fridge stocked, drinks chilled and everything unpacked and organised so they can immediately relax and enjoy their holiday instead of spending their first evening in a supermarket," Manning stated.

Manning's clients are typically business owners, busy professionals, and high-net-worth individuals who entrust her with managing their homes, schedules, and personal affairs. She noted the importance of trust in her role, stating, "Clients are trusting you with their homes, schedules, businesses and sometimes quite personal aspects of their lives, so it's incredibly rewarding when they rely on you so heavily."

Abbie regularly shares videos of her work online, leaving many viewers stunned that the job even exists. She said: 'Most people either say

I need you in my life" or they're genuinely shocked that jobs like this actually exist outside of films and TV"" The business has proven to be lucrative for Manning, who reported earning three to four times her previous monthly salary. She attributes the success to the value placed on time and convenience by her clients.

Her day-to-day roles can range from unpacking groceries at a holiday home in Devon to arranging private chefs, planning exclusive events or travelling across Europe to oversee luxury properties

While the career offers financial rewards and flexibility, Manning acknowledges the challenges, including the difficulty of disconnecting from work. The varied nature of the role requires adaptability and the ability to think quickly under pressure, as plans can change rapidly.

Manning believes the public's fascination with her profession stems from the increasing trend of outsourcing tasks in modern life. She noted that the visibility of such services on social media has highlighted their appeal to those seeking convenience and luxury.
