Cole Palmer, the Chelsea footballer, has been observed enjoying a holiday in Marbella with his girlfriend Olivia Holder. The trip comes after Palmer was not selected for England's World Cup squad, which recently defeated Mexico 3-2.
Palmer, 24, appeared relaxed as he spent time at a beach club. He was seen with Holder, who attracted attention in a pink and brown bikini. The couple reportedly enjoyed drinks and played cards. Palmer was also seen wearing a Patek Philippe Nautilus watch and a diamond necklace.
Palmer acknowledged his omission from the England squad in a recent interview, stating he is "not crying over a decision you can't change." He expressed his intention to use the summer for rest and preparation for the upcoming season. "I'm going to relax this summer, rest for the first time in three or four years, before getting back to what I love," he told i-D. He added that he would watch the England matches if he was not occupied.
Palmer had a notable debut season with Chelsea after transferring from Manchester City in 2023, scoring 22 goals and providing 11 assists in 33 Premier League appearances. He played a role in England's Euro 2024 campaign, scoring as a substitute in the final. In the subsequent 2024-25 season, he was a key player for Chelsea, contributing 15 goals and nine assists in the Premier League. However, his performance last season was affected by injuries, including groin and hamstring issues, leading to fewer appearances and goals. Chelsea finished 10th in the league last season.
This holiday marks a period of relaxation for Palmer, who has also been seen in Ibiza earlier in the summer. He has spoken about the importance of maintaining balance and staying grounded by spending time with friends and family outside of football.
