CIA Director John Ratcliffe has traveled to Moscow for unannounced meetings, according to multiple officials familiar with the matter.

A U.S. military Boeing C-17 Globemaster III, identified by flight number RCH4555, was observed at Moscow's Vnukovo International Airport. Tracking data from Flightradar24 indicated the aircraft departed from Riga, Latvia, on Tuesday morning. The flight's origin was Joint Base Andrews in Maryland, a significant U.S. Air Force base.

The C-17 Globemaster III is a large transport aircraft used by the U.S. Air Force for strategic airlift and other missions. The CIA, the Department of Defense, and the Air Force declined to comment on the visit or the aircraft's presence.
