Christina Aguilera posted a steamy bathtub selfie on Instagram on Wednesday, embracing a spooky theme ahead of Halloween. In the photo, the singer is seen in a cream bathtub with her blonde hair falling across her face. She used two ghost emojis to cover her chest in the image.

The picture was set to Lana Del Rey's cover of "Season Of The Witch." Aguilera, 45, captioned the post, "last looks before xtinaween 😏🎃🤡😈👻."

Aguilera has frequently shared provocative images on social media. In January, she posted a series of photos from Paris where she appeared to forgo a top, instead wearing a diamond necklace and a voluminous black tulle skirt. She captioned that post, "northern lights, parisian nights ✈️🌌🌃🌠⭐️💫✨."

In December 2024, the singer celebrated her 44th birthday by posting a black-and-white photo of herself in her "birthday suit," wearing only leather micro shorts, a black hat, and heels. The caption read, "Birthday Suit #44."

Earlier in 2024, Aguilera sparked speculation about weight loss after a performance in Mexico. She addressed rumors about Ozempic in an August interview with Glamour, stating, "I have a maturity now where I just don’t give a f–k about your opinion." She added, "I’m not going to take it on... Other people’s opinions of me are not my business."

Reflecting on media scrutiny of her body since the late 1990s, Aguilera told the outlet, "When you’re a teenager, you have a very different body than when you’re in your 20s. I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, ‘Oh, she’s getting thicker.’"

In December 2024, Aguilera shared a montage of screenshots of comments about her appearance, vowing to do "something a little different" in 2025. She wrote in the caption, "This is a reminder to everyone that you are your OWN STORYTELLER in your OWN LIFE. No one else can dictate who you are. No one deserves an explanation."
