Christian Siriano on Designing for Pregnant Kaley Cuoco and Lisa Ann Walter at the Emmys
The designer discusses creating custom looks for the awards show, balancing comfort and style for a pregnant actress, and his new jewelry collaboration.
Christian Siriano has revealed the design process behind the custom gowns worn by Kaley Cuoco and Lisa Ann Walter at the 2026 Primetime Emmy Awards. Siriano, who also recently launched a jewelry collaboration with Rare Carat, dressed Cuoco, who was pregnant with her second child, in a pink babydoll gown featuring bump-framing cutouts. "She still wanted to be sexy," Siriano told Page Six Style of the "Big Bang Theory" star.
For Lisa Ann Walter, Siriano crafted a "vampy" look with dramatic ruched tulle sleeves, describing it as the "opposite" of Cuoco's ensemble. "It was a race to the finish to complete the red carpet looks," Siriano noted, as the Emmys followed closely after his New York Fashion Week show.
Siriano's recent launch with Rare Carat features a collection of diamond jewelry. He expressed particular fondness for studs framed with pink stones and an engagement ring accented with sapphires. "Everything’s made to mix and match seamlessly with accessories in shoppers’ existing wardrobes," Siriano said, adding that he envisions his clients wearing the jewelry for "like a million years."
