U.S. Men's National Team forward Christian Pulisic and country singer Megan Moroney have ignited dating rumors following a public appearance together in Nashville. The pair were observed at Dierks Bentley's Whiskey Row on Broadway, a popular venue in the city.
A video shared as an Instagram Story by the venue reportedly showed Pulisic and Moroney seated together in an outdoor VIP section, appearing to enjoy music. This sighting follows other recent public appearances, including Pulisic attending one of Moroney's concerts in Miami, Florida, as part of her "Cloud 9" tour. Pulisic reportedly brought his cousin to the show, and the trio posed for a photograph afterward.
Both Pulisic and Moroney follow each other on Instagram. However, Moroney addressed her relationship status in an interview with Cosmopolitan earlier in July, stating that she is currently single. She described the experience of being on tour without a romantic distraction as beneficial for her focus and personal growth, though she indicated that this could change after her tour concludes on October 1 in Belfast.
"There is something about having a crush that's exciting, and when my tour wraps up in October, when I'm back from Europe, I'll maybe be on the prowl again," Moroney told the outlet. "It'll be fall. It'll be cuffing season, but right now, it's been so nice to have my friends and family out [with me] and that not be an aspect of my life that is any sort of problem for me."
Pulisic's romantic life has also been in the public eye recently. Prior to the World Cup, where the U.S. team was eliminated in the Round of 16 after a loss to Belgium, Pulisic ended his relationship with ex-girlfriend Alexa Melton. Melton had initially made a comment on Instagram suggesting Pulisic had been on the dating app Raya before their breakup, but later retracted the statement, attributing it to receiving "false info" and clarifying that Pulisic is "not a cheater."
In an interview published in May, Pulisic spoke positively about Melton, describing her as supportive and someone who encouraged him to enjoy life more. He exited the World Cup match against Belgium in the 59th minute due to an injury, concluding his tournament with zero goals and one assist.
