Chris Watts, who is serving multiple life sentences for the 2018 murders of his pregnant wife and two young daughters, is reportedly seeking to marry a new love interest named Lizzie Henderson. Watts met Henderson while incarcerated, and the couple has reportedly applied for a marriage within the prison system, according to a report by People.
Watts is currently held at Dodge Correctional Institution, a maximum-security prison in Waupun, Wisconsin. Henderson, reportedly from Cleveland, Ohio, recently relocated to Wisconsin, near the prison facility.
Watts pleaded guilty to all charges in November 2018, agreeing to life in prison without parole in exchange for prosecutors not pursuing the death penalty. The murders of his wife, Shanann Watts, 34, and their daughters, Bella, 4, and Celeste, 3, occurred on August 13, 2018. Investigators cited an extramarital affair as the motive for the killings.
Records from Racine County, Wisconsin, indicate that a woman named Lizzie Henderson applied for a legal name change in 2025, with the filing listed as confidential. Henderson, who was previously identified as a real estate agent in the Milwaukee area, has not commented on her employment status with Keller Williams Realty. When reached by Fox News Digital, the office confirmed she is no longer an employee.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, Henderson acknowledged her feelings for Watts, stating, "He knows how I feel. I don’t know all the people involved but I would want to respect them." She described the Watts family murders as "something harsh for anyone to experience."
