Staffordshire Police have initiated an investigation into the unexplained death of a child in woodland near Cheslyn Hay. Emergency services were dispatched to the scene on Saturday morning following reports of a child in cardiac arrest.
Authorities were called to land off Strawberry Lane at approximately 08:45 BST. An air ambulance was deployed, but paramedics pronounced the child dead shortly after their arrival. The specific age of the child has not been released by the force.
