Chick-fil-A is celebrating "Cow Appreciation Day" on Tuesday, July 14, by offering complimentary food to customers who wear cow-themed attire. This marks the first time the promotion has been held since 2019, as it was paused during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The "Eat Mor Chikin" cows, the chain's mascot, are the inspiration for the event. Participating Chick-fil-A restaurants will offer free breakfast biscuits, chicken sandwiches, nuggets, and select kids' meals between 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m., while supplies last. The offer is only valid for in-person orders, including dine-in, carry-out, and drive-thru, and cannot be redeemed through digital ordering.
Customers can choose from several free entrée options. For breakfast, this includes the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit or a 4-count of Chick-n-Minis. Lunch and dinner options include the Original or Spicy Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, an 8-count of Original or Grilled Nuggets, or a 3-count of Chick-n-Strips. For children aged 12 and under, a select kids' meal entrée and prize will be available, though specific offerings may vary by location.
"Cow Appreciation Day is one of our favorite celebrations, where we invite customers to bring the whole herd to their nearest participating Chick-fil-A restaurant dressed like a cow for a free entrée," a representative for the restaurant stated in a release. The chain is reviving the promotion as part of its 80th birthday celebration.
