Actor Chevy Chase has been accused of being "not so nice" by Katie Lee Biegel, the ex-wife of musician Billy Joel. Biegel shared the anecdote on a recent episode of her podcast, "All on the Table," detailing an encounter that occurred while she was married to Joel.
According to Biegel, the incident took place during a "Tear the House Down" keg party they hosted at a house they planned to demolish. She described the event as an "old-school" gathering with jello shots and kegs.
Biegel said she was circulating with a tray of jello shots when she approached Chase and his wife. She offered them a shot, but Chase, mistaking her for party staff, allegedly "shooed" her away with his hand.
Chase has a long-standing reputation in Hollywood for being difficult to work with. Several former co-stars and collaborators have alleged abrasive and confrontational behavior from the actor over the years. His tenure on the television show "Community" was particularly marked by reported clashes with the show's creator and cast members, culminating in his departure in 2012 after allegations of racially insensitive language on set.
Fox News Digital has reached out to Chase for comment on Biegel's account.
