The seventh day of Wimbledon on Sunday saw a vibrant display of celebrity and sporting prowess in the stands as play continued on the courts. Among the notable attendees were Simon Cowell's partner Lauren Silverman and her friend Bruno Tonioli, who appeared engaged by the tense match between Novak Djokovic and Roman Safiullin.

Silverman, 48, wore a chic blue shirt dress, her expressions shifting with the game's drama, while Tonioli, 70, mirrored her reactions. "Desperate Housewives" star Vanessa Williams, 63, also drew attention in a striking floral print halterneck dress. Williams is slated to conclude her West End run in "The Devil Wears Prada" in October.

True to tradition for the middle weekend of the championships, the Royal Box was occupied by a distinguished group of sports figures. Olympic champions such as heptathlete Dame Jessica Ennis Hill, accompanied by her husband Andy, were present. Cyclists Dame Laura Kenny and Sir Jason Kenny also attended, with Laura showcasing notable accessories.

Dame Kelly Holmes impressed in a blue and white paisley dress, while former marathon runner Paula Radcliffe was seen in a navy blue pleated dress. Other personalities spotted in the Royal Box included rugby legends Dan Biggar, Alun Wyn-Jones, and James Haskell, as well as 1966 World Cup winner Sir Geoff Hurst. Also in attendance were Matt Dawson, James Haskell, Graeme Souness, Sue Barker, and Paris 2024 triathlon medal hopeful Alex Yee. Many of these sports stars waved to the crowd after being introduced by presenter Clare Balding.

On court, the focus was on the matches involving Aryna Sabalenka against Naomi Osaka and Novak Djokovic's continued pursuit of another Wimbledon title in his match against Roman Safiullin. British interest was high as Arthur Fery secured his place in the final 16 after a demanding four-hour match against Zizou Bergs. Fery's victory marked his entry into the world's top 100 for the first time. The 23-year-old expressed disbelief at his achievement, stating, 'I just tried to stay in the match, backing myself as a competitor.' Fery is scheduled to play Grigor Dimitrov on Centre Court.

Other notable attendees included ITV personalities Robert Rinder and Lorraine Kelly, and Jenni Falconer.
