Cat Deeley recently showcased her gardening prowess by mowing her lawn while wearing a bikini, sharing the moment on Instagram. This activity followed a public appearance with Charlie Coleman, an executive at Amazon MGM Studios, at BST Hyde Park in London.
Deeley, who announced her split from husband Patrick Kielty in July of last year after 12 years of marriage, appeared to be enjoying the British summer. She was seen operating an electric lawnmower while wearing a black strapless bikini. Following her gardening, she shared a photo of herself relaxing with a beverage.
Reports surfaced in May that Deeley was open to dating again, nearly a year after revealing her separation from Kielty. The couple confirmed their divorce in a joint statement in July 2025, stating their decision to end their 12-year marriage while remaining united as parents to their two sons, Milo and James. Speculation about their split had previously arisen when Deeley was absent from Kielty's mother's funeral in Ireland in March of last year.
A source told The Sun that Deeley is feeling ready to "get herself back out there" and is "living life to the fullest" with close friends and family. The source also indicated that while she is open to dating, it needs to feel right, and she is not actively pursuing dating apps, though not entirely closed off to them.
Deeley and Kielty first met in 2002 while hosting the BBC talent show Fame Academy, but they did not begin a romantic relationship until ten years later. They married in Rome in September 2012, having first gone public with their relationship in May of that year. The couple lived in California for a decade before returning to the UK, a move influenced by Deeley's desire to be closer to her family and her role presenting "This Morning." They welcomed their second son in 2018 while living in Los Angeles. Deeley has been co-presenting "This Morning" since 2024.
During their time in Los Angeles, Deeley and Kielty reportedly became disillusioned with life there following a "terrifying gun incident," which was another factor in their decision to move back to the UK.
