A Los Angeles-based recruitment CEO allegedly compelled her staff to search a sexually explicit website to find male masseuses for her "in-home" needs, a lawsuit claims. Amy Kossoris, owner of Kossoris Search Inc., is accused of directing an employee in May 2025 to find a male at-home massage therapist who would be willing to perform "specific and highly personal massage services," according to court documents.
The lawsuit states that Kossoris instructed her staff to use Masseurfinder.com, a website described as "the web’s best directory of LGBTQI-friendly massage therapists and bodyworkers in the United States." Employees reported being exposed to sexually explicit content on the site and having to discuss intimate details with potential providers. One employee, Kaynaz Farhood, claimed that Masseurfinder.com was blocked by company filters, forcing her to use her personal device to search for candidates.
Masseuses reportedly declined Kossoris's requests, citing safety concerns and her alleged "past history of being physically and verbally aggressive." In June 2025, after employees raised concerns, they were reportedly told to continue searching for a male masseuse but to stop using Masseurfinder.com.
Farhood further alleged that she was demoted to "cold caller," stripped of her office, and made to sit in a hallway under surveillance cameras after complaining that the assignment crossed professional boundaries and made her feel uncomfortable. A manager reportedly threatened termination if employees did not meet demands for screened masseuses daily, anonymous online advertising, and personal screening of candidates.
Farhood resigned in September 2025. She is seeking damages and attorney fees. The Kossoris website states that Amy Kossoris is an experienced legal recruiter who personally handles all placements, asserting that she "never delegates job placements to other staff, and personally executes every placement with extreme care."
Kossoris has been contacted for comment. The lawsuit highlights allegations of an inappropriate work environment and demands placed upon employees that allegedly involved uncomfortable and explicit online content.
