Brooklyn Beckham shared an intimate photograph of his wife, Nicola Peltz, sleeping on Tuesday, a move that comes as reports suggest ongoing tension with his parents, David and Victoria Beckham.
Beckham, 27, posted the image to his Instagram account with the caption, "How my princess sleeps x." The couple has frequently shared their affection on social media. This latest post occurred just days after Victoria Beckham's commemoration of her 27th wedding anniversary with David Beckham. In her Instagram post, Victoria praised her "four amazing children," including Brooklyn, alongside a photo of herself and her husband.
David Beckham also referenced his eldest son in his anniversary post, expressing pride in his family. However, sources cited in reports indicate that Brooklyn is reportedly "fuming" about these public mentions, allegedly asking his parents to cease posting about him.
A source told The Sun that Brooklyn feels these posts "bring the whole thing up all over again" and wishes his parents would "leave it and leave him alone."
The alleged estrangement between Brooklyn and his parents intensified late last year. Shortly before Christmas, Brooklyn reportedly blocked his parents on Instagram. His legal team subsequently communicated with the Beckhams' representatives, requesting that all communication be managed through legal channels. In January, Brooklyn publicly stated he had cut ties with his family, declaring he was no longer part of "Brand Beckham" and labeling his parents and siblings as "performative."
Reports from January also detailed Brooklyn's claims that his parents had controlled him for much of his life, attempted to create distance between him and his wife, Nicola Peltz, and embarrassed him at his wedding. Specifically, he cited his mother dancing "inappropriately" with him during his first dance.
The aspiring chef was last seen with his family during the Christmas holidays in 2024. By May 2025, the rift appeared evident when Brooklyn did not acknowledge his parents' birthdays or David Beckham's 50th birthday.
Last month, Brooklyn faced criticism after releasing a two-part DoorDash commercial. This campaign, reportedly worth at least $1 million, came five months after he and Peltz stated a desire for privacy. Some interpreted a teaser clip from the advert, where Brooklyn alluded to watching the Fifa World Cup 2026 from home, as a jab at his parents, with whom he no longer speaks. Friends of the Beckhams reportedly described them as "devastated and inconsolable" by the perceived insult.
