Brooklyn Beckham and his wife, Nicola Peltz, are holidaying in the South of France with his godfather, Elton John, on his yacht. The pair are staying near Nice, approximately 75 miles from Brooklyn's parents, David and Victoria Beckham, who are vacationing in Saint-Tropez on their own yacht.

This separate holiday marks a significant proximity for the estranged family members since their fallout. It is not the first time Brooklyn and Peltz have holidayed with John, who has reportedly acted as a mediator in the ongoing feud. The couple were seen enjoying a luncheon on John's sundeck, displaying affection as they held hands.

Peltz wore a white lace minidress with beige heels, while Beckham sported denim shorts and a white T-shirt. John, along with his husband David Furnish, appeared in good spirits, seen chatting and laughing with the couple.

This arrangement contrasts with the Beckhams' usual family gatherings. Brooklyn has skipped the family's annual yacht getaway, choosing instead to spend time with John and his wife. The last time the Beckham family was pictured together with Brooklyn and Peltz was Christmas 2024, before communication between them reportedly ceased.

David Beckham was recently seen on his yacht, the Seven, with sons Romeo, Cruz, and daughter Harper. He was photographed with his arm around Romeo, while Brooklyn enjoyed his separate holiday. Earlier in their trip, David and Victoria visited the Balearic Islands with their younger children.

The rift between Brooklyn and his parents reportedly began around the time of David's 50th birthday celebrations. Brooklyn has publicly distanced himself from the family, including releasing a statement in January denouncing his parents and declaring he was no longer part of 'Brand Beckham.' He also claimed his parents had exerted control over his life, attempted to create distance between him and Peltz, and expressed embarrassment over Victoria's actions at his wedding.

Brooklyn has not publicly acknowledged his parents' birthdays or other milestones since the rift began. He reportedly blocked his parents on Instagram shortly before Christmas last year, and legal representatives have since been involved in communication between Brooklyn's team and the Beckhams.

Elton John and the Beckhams have been friends for over 30 years, with David Beckham referring to the musician as 'Uncle Elton.' John was scheduled to perform at the Beckhams' wedding in 1999 but was unable to due to a heart attack, though he did sing at Brooklyn's christening. Victoria Beckham has previously stated that John inspired her decision to leave the Spice Girls.
