Brooke Hogan has issued a "final warning" to her mother, Linda Hogan, threatening to release screenshots amid an escalating public feud over their yearslong estrangement. The 38-year-old daughter of the late wrestling icon Hulk Hogan responded to her mother's recent Facebook post, in which Linda lamented their fractured relationship and accused Brooke of discarding the family "like trash."
"This 👌 close to breaking out some screenshots – which are ONE of the many reasons WHY," Brooke wrote on her Instagram Story, sharing a screenshot of her mother's August 30 post. "I don't take CONSTANTLY dragging my name through the mud lightly. The selective amnesia isn't gonna work."
Linda Hogan had shared old family photos, expressing her hurt over the estrangement and asserting that Brooke was deeply loved. "We feel hurt every day that she just tosses us aside .... like trash," Linda wrote. "I want to make sure she remembers how it really was .. and can really see how much she was adored and loved."
Brooke's response suggests a differing recollection of family history and a readiness to make private communications public if the criticism persists. This latest exchange marks another chapter in a family rift that has been publicly visible for years.
Brooke first gained public attention with her parents, Hulk and Linda Hogan, and her younger brother, Nick Hogan, on the VH1 reality series "Hogan Knows Best," which premiered in 2005. The show documented the family's life and Brooke's burgeoning music career.
The family dynamic shifted significantly after Linda filed for divorce from Hulk Hogan in 2007, with the divorce finalized in 2009. Subsequently, Brooke became estranged from both parents, but she has previously clarified that her reasons for distancing herself from each parent were distinct.
In a March 2025 Instagram statement, Brooke addressed the family rift, stating, "No contact with my mom has nothing to do with my dad, and no contact with my father has nothing to do with my mother. I have completely separate reasons for going no contact with each of my parents."
At that time, Brooke also made allegations of childhood abuse, stating, "I have been EXTREMELY verbally and mentally abused since childhood. Sadly, it would frequently turn physical. And sometimes it's not by the person you would assume, abuse comes in all shapes and sizes." She also claimed to have been manipulated and lied to after defending family members' behavior, writing, "I've been asked to defend poor behavior to the public and have done so out of love. Only to find I was misinformed, manipulated, and lied to."
Her comments in March 2025 came after Linda had publicly discussed the family's troubles, reigniting attention on their strained relationship. The conflict contrasts sharply with the family image presented on "Hogan Knows Best."
Brooke's relationship with her father, Hulk Hogan, born Terry Bollea, garnered renewed attention following his death on July 24, 2025, at age 71 after being hospitalized for cardiac arrest. Despite their estrangement prior to his death, Brooke stated in an April interview with Fox News Digital that her love for him remained. "I’m honest with him now, and I talk to him all the time, even if that seems like I’m a cuckoo bird," she said. "If he showed up today, I would just be like, ‘I love you so much, and I wish you would have just let me in.’"
She also reflected on the strain in their relationship, explaining, "[It's] tough because, obviously, my dad and I weren't really speaking prior to his death — not because I didn't love him… it's that he had become a little bit calloused in the direction he was going in his life and the people he was surrounding himself with. I am the daughter that wanted to save him. And it's kind of like, you can try to save somebody and if they don't want to be saved… it's a tough position to be in."
