Brittany Hockley, a podcaster, has stated she would not be concerned if she discovered her husband, Swiss soccer player Benjamin Siegrist, had paid for sex in the past. Hockley, 38, discussed the matter with her "Life Uncut" co-host Laura Byrne, 40, expressing that the thought of her partner visiting a brothel before they met did not provoke disgust.

"Can you still be disgusted over something they did two years ago that was disgusting? Yes, you can be disgusted for eternity... But I just don't think this is it," Hockley said. "It is just two consensual people having sex. I understand there is this 'ick' feeling when someone pays for sex, but I don't know why. It's like, that's her job! For me, it's not a big deal."

Hockley clarified that while a single past instance would not upset her, a consistent pattern might elicit a different reaction. "Maybe I would feel differently if he was going four times a week for four years, like it was a habit or addiction," she noted. "But for him to say, 'I went once years ago', I think just let it slide if you are in a wonderful relationship... as long as he is not going to a brothel while in your relationship!"

Byrne echoed similar sentiments, stating she would not be bothered if her own husband, Matty 'J' Johnson, had visited a brothel prior to their meeting. "I would not care one iota! This isn't a boundary, [if it happened before you met] your boyfriend didn't know you even existed!" Byrne commented.

Hockley and Siegrist were married in Bali in June 2025. Following their wedding, Hockley announced her intention to relocate to Italy to live with her husband, a move she confirmed in December 2025 as a way to combat their long-distance relationship.

Earlier in 2026, Hockley's wedding vows, recited in German to honor her husband's heritage, went viral. She initially shared a video of the moment, assuming the German comments were complimentary. However, her husband later translated them, revealing a humorous reception that left Hockley laughing.
