Britney Spears recently took to Instagram to celebrate her sons, Sean Preston and Jayden James, marking their birthdays and expressing her desire to be the "best mommy" she can be. Sean Preston celebrated his 21st birthday on Monday, while Jayden James turned 20 on Saturday.
In a post dedicated to Jayden, Spears, 44, wrote, "Happy birthday to my handsome young boy oh dear lord we have this beautiful thing called life in front of us. It’s such a beautiful delicate thing. I hope I can be the best mommy in the world every day of ur life!!!!"
She included a photo of Jayden from a photoshoot and another of him as a child. Spears also shared a throwback picture of herself with both sons when they were toddlers.
Addressing Sean Preston in a separate tribute, she wrote, "Happy early B-day to u as well. Please stop working out so much because your muscles r starting to scare me … JK! Well 🤦♀️🤔. I’m so proud of the young man you have become."
Spears shared two additional photos of her sons with the caption, "happy b day baby !"
The Grammy winner shares Jayden and Sean Preston with her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, to whom she was married from 2004 to 2007. Their relationship with their mother has reportedly mended after a period of estrangement. An insider told Page Six in April that Preston and Jayden played a role in helping their mother get back on her feet and enter treatment.
"It’s just been really great for them to spend all of this time with their mom," the source shared. "Britney loves them both equally. They are her whole world," the source added, referring to their time together as "an absolute gift" and "the biggest joy" for Spears.
Since then, Spears has frequently shared her renewed relationship with her sons on Instagram. She has also expressed pride in their recent foray into modeling, including their Paris Fashion Week debut in July.
