Westlife singer Brian McFadden has stated that he maintains no contact with his ex-wives, Kerry Katona and Vogue Williams, and sees no necessity for such communication.
Vogue Williams had previously called McFadden "incredibly rude" for not inviting her to his wedding in July 2025. McFadden, who was married to Williams from 2012 to 2017, explained his decision by saying it is not customary to invite an ex-wife to a wedding. He noted that they haven't spoken in a long time and are both remarried with families, thus there is no reason to maintain contact.
McFadden also indicated that the wedding was intended to be a small, personal affair, which is why many friends were also not invited.
The singer confirmed he no longer speaks with Kerry Katona, his first wife, to whom he was married from 2002 to 2006. They share two daughters, Molly, 25, and Lilly, 23. McFadden stated that with their children now adults, there is no reason to be in contact unless for significant family events like weddings.
McFadden and his current wife, Danielle Parkinson, a PE teacher, married in July 2025 after eight years together. They welcomed their daughter Ruby in 2021. The couple's nuptials took place at Lusty Glaze Beach in Cornwall.
Williams, now married to Spencer Matthews with whom she has four children, had expressed her offense on her podcast "My Therapist Ghosted Me" in June, stating she found the lack of an invitation "incredibly rude."
McFadden and Parkinson's wedding plans were delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. They had become engaged in 2019. The couple welcomed Ruby Jean in 2021 via IVF, following two previous miscarriages.
Kerry Katona had previously spoken positively about McFadden's current wife, Danielle Parkinson, expressing a good relationship and admiration for her role as a stepmother to her daughters. Katona had also mentioned learning lessons from her past marriage, stating she could not blame McFadden for their separation in 2006, which she revealed was triggered by his infidelity. McFadden has since married his current wife, while Katona is reportedly dating personal trainer Paolo Margaglione.
