Brian Hickerson's brother, Zach, has spoken out about the final moments of actress Hayden Panettiere, detailing how he and Brian found her unconscious at an AirBnB in Greenville, South Carolina.
Zach Hickerson told TMZ that he was in the process of calling 911 while Brian administered Narcan, a medication used to reverse opioid overdoses, to Panettiere. The group had reportedly planned to have lunch and go indoor golfing.
According to Zach, he had attempted to contact both Panettiere and his brother via phone and text after leaving church on a Sunday. When he received no response, he drove back to their rental accommodation. Unable to enter the unit, he knocked loudly, which he believes woke Brian from a nap. Upon entering, they discovered Panettiere was unconscious.
"I immediately called 911 and Brian gave her Narcan," Zach stated. "We then jointly performed CPR while 911 was on speaker until Fire and EMS arrived." He added that they watched as emergency personnel attempted to save her life.
Zach Hickerson emphasized the importance of the truth emerging as authorities complete their investigation, stating, "There are a lot of assumptions, speculations and accusations currently swirling. The truth will come out as the authorities complete and release additional details from the investigation. And that is important because the people who loved and adored Hayden deserve the truth."
