A man is honoring the final wish of his girlfriend, Brittany Clark, who died after an alligator attack in Central Florida. Clark, 31, asked her boyfriend, Chance Allison, to care for her dog, Hokie, after she was mauled by a 13-foot alligator while swimming in a river in Little Big Econ State Forest on June 28.
Allison shared an update on Facebook, stating that Hokie and his own dog, Bulma, have been providing him with companionship. He posted photos of the German Shepherd and his pit bull mix, noting their enjoyment of car rides. "Hokie and Bulma have been the best company I could ask for," Allison wrote. "They surely love to hang there [sic] heads out the windows for all the sight and landfills haha."
