A 6-year-old boy was struck by a hit-and-run driver in a BMW late Thursday night in East New York, Brooklyn, police reported.
The incident occurred around 10:40 p.m. as the boy was crossing Euclid Avenue near Linden Boulevard with an adult when the vehicle hit him. The driver of the BMW then fled the scene.
The child was transported to Maimonides Medical Center and is listed in stable condition, according to authorities. As of Friday morning, the driver had not been apprehended.
