A body has been discovered during the search for Eilidh Bell, a 25-year-old woman who was last seen early Friday morning. Ms. Bell was last seen around 1 a.m. on Friday in Campbeltown, Argyll and Bute, and was reported missing on Sunday.

Police Scotland confirmed that a woman's body was found on Monday near Kilkerran Road. Although formal identification has not yet been completed, Ms. Bell's family has been informed. The death is currently being treated as unexplained, and an investigation is underway.

Ms. Bell's disappearance was described as out of character by family members over the weekend. Her mother, Jenny Bell, had posted on Facebook expressing concern and stating that her daughter had not been in touch with friends or family, which was unusual. Her aunt, Laura McEwan, also shared an appeal on social media, emphasizing how much Ms. Bell is loved and noting that she would not have missed her younger sister's birthday.

Police Scotland stated that a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course. The family has requested privacy during this time.
