Blake Lively was photographed in New York City on Friday night with her husband, Ryan Reynolds, and her sister, Robyn Lively. This sighting marks the first public appearance for the actress since a judge ruled on her request for legal fees in her case against her "It Ends With Us" co-star, Justin Baldoni.
Lively wore brown overalls, a black tank top, loafers, and gold jewelry. Reynolds sported a gray sweater, black pants, and a newsboy cap, while Robyn Lively wore denim. They were seen walking in the city, with Lively and a child, whose face was pixelated, holding arms.
The legal dispute between Lively and Baldoni, which began in December 2024 when Lively filed a complaint accusing him of sexual harassment, concluded in May 2025. Although 10 of Lively's 13 claims were dismissed, she and Baldoni settled two weeks before their scheduled trial date. Neither party received financial compensation as part of the settlement.
Following the settlement, Lively sought approximately $7.5 million in attorneys' fees and over $500,000 in litigation costs from Baldoni. However, a judge deemed the requested amount "outrageously unreasonable" and awarded Lively a substantially reduced sum. On Wednesday, a judge ordered Baldoni to pay Lively $363,245.40 in attorneys' fees and an additional $44,206.35 in costs.
Lively's attorneys, Esra Hudson and Michael Gottlieb, stated that the "case was never about money – it was about accountability." Conversely, Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedman, called the ruling a "significant victory" for his clients, asserting that it sends a message against using the legal system for personal gain.
Baldoni, who has denied Lively's allegations, addressed the situation in an Instagram video in July. He stated that he and his wife, Emily Baldoni, did not wish to add to the "noise" surrounding the accusations and allowed the justice system to proceed. Emily Baldoni added that "the truth and facts have spoken for themselves."
