Billi Mucklow has shared details of her fitness transformation, announcing she has lost a stone in weight and dropped two dress sizes over the past six months. The 38-year-old former star of The Only Way Is Essex (TOWIE) showcased her progress in bikini photographs taken in Ibiza.
Mucklow described her fitness journey to Closer magazine, explaining that she had experienced a loss of confidence in the past year. "I wanted to look better, more toned, feel physically and mentally stronger and get to a better place," she stated.
She further elaborated on the impact of her consistent workouts, saying, "I've been working out consistently for six months and it's been life-changing. I've gone from a size 12 to a size 8-10 and I feel great."
Her personal trainer, Ted Boswell, also commented on her progress via Instagram, calling her journey "motivational." He noted that since January, Mucklow has lost over a stone, reduced her dress size from a 12/14 to an 8, and significantly transformed her shape, strength, and confidence. Boswell highlighted her increased strength, stating that her hip thrust weight has doubled from approximately 60kg to 120kg. He emphasized that her increased confidence and consistent effort were more significant achievements than the physical changes.
In March, Mucklow had previously posted gym selfies, indicating she was "rebuilding myself to be stronger than ever." Fans reacted positively to her posts, with some commenting that she appeared to be "glowing from the inside out" and her figure was an "ultimate revenge" following the breakdown of her marriage to footballer Andy Carroll in 2024.
Carroll, 37, is reportedly in a new relationship with make-up artist Lou Teasdale, 42. There are concerns that Carroll's new role as manager of Dagenham & Redbridge football club could create tension with Teasdale, especially as he has been dealing with an injury since December. Carroll is scheduled to stand trial in January after pleading not guilty to charges of breaching a non-molestation order, which he is accused of violating by repeatedly contacting Mucklow. The couple share three children. A non-molestation order, issued by a civil court, is intended to prevent someone from approaching another person, and breaching it can carry a maximum prison sentence of five years.
