Ben Higgins, a former star of the reality television show "The Bachelor," and his wife, Jessica Clarke, have announced they are expecting their second child. Clarke is pregnant with their second daughter, who is due to arrive this holiday season.

Higgins, 37, shared the news on Instagram, expressing his joy. "The world is blessed because @jessclarke_ is becoming a mother of two girls and Winona is so excited about becoming a big sister!" he wrote. He also joked about the family dog, Waylon, carrying the pressure of continuing the Higgins name. "I personally am overwhelmed with joy to be experiencing it all!" Higgins added.

The couple welcomed their first daughter, Winona, in February 2025. Higgins described the birth of their daughter as a profound experience, stating that his love and admiration for Clarke had grown, and that his "heart has exploded for her and our new baby girl." He noted that the arrival of Winona marked a new chapter for their family, filled with a sense of God-inspired love.

Higgins was the lead in season 20 of "The Bachelor" in 2016. The couple previously shared that their first pregnancy was achieved through intrauterine insemination (IUI). Clarke has been open about experiencing fertility issues, including irregular ovulation, prior to their first pregnancy.

She explained on their podcast "Almost Famous" that they opted for IUI, a step before IVF, and that it was successful on their first attempt. Clarke acknowledged feeling fortunate in their fertility journey. The couple had previously stated they abstained from sex before marriage due to their shared Christian faith, which they described as the foundation of their lives and their belief that sex is sacred.
