David and Victoria Beckham have been continuing their European summer break, recently seen relaxing on their yacht near Capri. Victoria, 52, showcased a black bikini while David, shirtless, sported yellow swimming shorts aboard their yacht named Seven. Their sons Cruz, 21, and Romeo, 23, have returned to the UK for other commitments, while their eldest son, Brooklyn, remains absent from the family's current travels.

Meanwhile, Cruz Beckham's debut music release, an EP titled "Wear & Tear," has drawn attention for lyrical content that some interpret as commentary on his strained relationship with his older brother, Brooklyn. The EP, recorded with his band The Breakers, reportedly captures "a life lived" with its highs and lows.

One track, "Seeing Red," features lyrics such as "Been seeing red for as long as I remember / Yeah, I said I'm already there / The moment I drop this s***, the whole thing's over." Cruz has described this song as a "comedic take on a totally unserious moment of frustration, in this case in sports," suggesting it alludes to competitive nature rather than a serious feud. The accompanying music video also includes scenes of football players fighting, with Cruz depicted as injured, potentially referencing his father David's career.

Another song, "Loneliest Boy," includes lyrics that fans believe are directed at Brooklyn, such as "Loneliest boy, mama don't talk too much, It's breaking hеr heart. It shows in the small things that you don't do... Tell me how do you live, when you've got nobody to lose?" The song's themes of isolation and distance from family have fueled speculation about the brothers' estrangement.

The rift between Brooklyn and his parents reportedly began around David's 50th birthday celebrations. Brooklyn has not publicly acknowledged significant family events since then and reportedly blocked his parents on Instagram before Christmas last year. Communication is said to be conducted through legal representatives.

In January, Brooklyn released a statement disavowing his family and claiming he was no longer part of "Brand Beckham." He asserted that his parents had controlled him, attempted to create distance between him and his wife Nicola Peltz Beckham, and embarrassed him at his wedding. More recently, Brooklyn appeared in a DoorDash advertisement that some interpreted as mocking his family fallout, a move that reportedly left David and Victoria "devastated and inconsolable."
