David Beckham and his mother, Sandra, occupied seats in the Royal Box at Wimbledon on Monday, marking their annual attendance at the prestigious tennis tournament. The former footballer shared images of their day, including a selfie with his mother and a moment introducing her to tennis star Novak Djokovic.

Beckham, 51, and his mother, 77, were seated near Mary Berry, the 91-year-old baking personality. Photos from the event showed Berry interacting with the Beckhams, with David Beckham joking that they were discussing his baking skills. Berry and Sandra Beckham were also pictured holding hands.

During the day's matches, Jannik Sinner defeated Miomir Kecmanović, and Aryna Sabalenka won against Teodora Kostović. The final match saw Novak Djokovic defeat Wu Yibing. Following the match, Djokovic met with David and Sandra Beckham.

David Beckham wore a grey BOSS suit for the occasion. Other notable guests in the Royal Box included Debbie Jevans, Mark Rylance, Alexandra Armstrong, and Katherine Jenkins, who was seated in the row behind.

However, Beckham's son, Romeo, and his girlfriend Kim Turnbull, were not seated in the Royal Box and were instead observed in less exclusive seating areas.

Katherine was reunited with David nine years after their OBE feud came to light as she joined her husband Andrew Levitas at the event.

The presence of Katherine Jenkins in close proximity to David Beckham at Wimbledon brought renewed attention to a past public dispute. In 2017, leaked emails allegedly attributed to David Beckham contained critical remarks about Jenkins and her OBE award, which she received in 2014 for services to music and charity. At the time, Beckham's representatives stated the emails were hacked and doctored. Jenkins was awarded an OBE for her charitable work and performances for troops in war zones. The past allegations also included remarks about the Scottish independence referendum and Beckham's investments.

Jenkins, accompanied by her husband Andrew Levitas, was seated a few rows behind Beckham. This seating arrangement echoed their positions from the previous year. Jenkins has previously commented on the alleged remarks, expressing disappointment and stating she had not heard directly from Beckham. She has maintained pride in her achievements, emphasizing the recognition for her contributions to music and charity.

At one point, when Sir David turned toward the second row where Katherine was sitting to snap a selfie with his mum, the opera star turned away.

Elsewhere at the tournament, other notable figures such as Tess Daly, Amanda Holden, and Maura Higgins were also in attendance.
