Billionaire Adrian Portelli was recently in court to address an unpaid parking fine, a matter that arose more than a year after the alleged offense. The case, which had been scheduled to be heard at the Wonthaggi Magistrates' Court in Victoria, Australia, was ultimately withdrawn by prosecutors.

Court documents indicated that Portelli's Aston Martin, valued at approximately $500,000, was allegedly parked in a loading zone on Thompson Avenue in Cowes, Phillip Island, on New Year's Day of the previous year. A ticket for $198 was issued, which the Bass Coast Shire Council claimed remained unpaid. Subsequent notices, including a penalty reminder and a final notice, were reportedly sent to Portelli without resolution. The council had sought $420.20 to cover administrative costs.

The matter proceeded to court, with journalists from across Victoria reportedly tuning in for the hearing. However, the council prosecutor withdrew the case without providing an explicit reason.

The vehicle in question, a white Aston Martin SUV, was previously featured when Portelli gifted it to his partner as a "push present" in 2023. This same street, Thompson Avenue, is also where Portelli purchased all five houses offered at auction on the reality television show "The Block" for $15.03 million in 2024.

Portelli, identified as a Young Rich Lister with an estimated net worth of $1.41 billion, founded LMCT+, an online subscription club offering discounts and prize giveaways. After attempting to sell the five "The Block" properties as a compound without success, he announced in June that they would be given away to five winners, a process completed in November.

Daily Mail does not suggest Portelli committed the offense, only that the matter was brought before the court. Portelli has not commented on the case.
