Archduchess Eleonore von Habsburg and her husband, former Formula One driver Jérôme d’Ambrosio, have welcomed their third child, a daughter named Cosima.

Cosima was born on July 4. The announcement was made by the Archduchess, who is 32 years old, via a series of photos posted to Instagram. The couple's other children include a son, Otto, born in October 2021, and a daughter, Zita, born in 2024.

Eleonore von Habsburg is the daughter of Karl von Habsburg, head of the House of Habsburg-Lorraine, and a politician. She is the great-granddaughter of Charles I of Austria, the last Emperor of Austria. Eleonore, a model who has previously worked with Dolce & Gabbana, married d’Ambrosio in 2020 in Monaco.

D’Ambrosio, 40, retired from racing in October 2020 and has since taken on roles within Formula One, including deputy team principal of Ferrari and Head of the Ferrari Driver Academy since 2024. The couple announced their engagement in March 2019 and frequently share travel photos on social media.

Eleonore, born in Salzburg, studied law in London and reportedly speaks multiple languages. Her mother is also from a Swiss noble family and had a brief modeling career before becoming an art collector. Despite her aristocratic background, Eleonore has stated that her parents encouraged her and her siblings to remain grounded, and she has expressed an appreciation for shopping at high-street retailers. Her brother, Ferdinand Habsburg, is an endurance racer.
