Annie Kilner and Burnley defender Kyle Walker have named their fifth child, Royal Wish. The couple plan to call their daughter Wish but opted to maintain an 'R' theme for their children.
Their sons are Roman, 11, Riaan, seven, Reign, five, and 14-month-old Rezon. Kilner announced the arrival of their daughter last month, stating, "Our precious baby girl is here safe. Speechless with the amount of love we all feel and the joy she's already brought to our family."
A source close to the couple told the Daily Mail that the family is overjoyed with the new addition. "Annie, Kyle and the four lads are absolutely made up with their little princess. Annie’s finally got her mini-me, and Kyle’s taken to being a proper girl dad like he was born for it," the source said.
Kilner, 33, had expressed a desire for a baby to complete their family and strengthen their marriage. "She believes that a baby will help put all their troubles behind them," a source told the Daily Mail in January. "Their family and close friends were shocked when they heard because there are still some issues between them."
Kyle and Annie married in 2021. Their relationship faced difficulties in 2024 following revelations that Walker was the father of Lauryn Goodman's daughter Kinara, and he had also fathered Goodman's second child. Goodman had informed Kilner on Boxing Day 2023 about her second pregnancy with Walker. This period led to Walker being asked to leave the family home, and Kilner later served him with divorce papers. Despite these challenges, the couple's sons are reportedly excited about their new sister.
