Andrew Tate's legal team is facilitating his social media presence from behind bars, with his attorney Joseph McBride revealing that Tate dictates messages to his lawyers during jailhouse meetings, which are then tweeted by his team. Tate is currently jailed in Miami, awaiting extradition to the UK to face 59 charges, including rape and sex trafficking.

McBride described the process as "the Pony Express," explaining that he meets with Tate multiple times a week and asks him what he wants to communicate to the public. Tate has no direct access to a phone while incarcerated at FDC Miami, according to his lawyer.

Tate's X account has continued to post updates, including claims that he is being held in a special housing unit with harsh conditions and that his cellmate is a "cannibal." McBride confirmed that Tate's neighbor is "Mr. Cannibal," and that the individual "screams all night" and exhibits "deep issues."

The "manosphere" influencer, 39, and his brother Tristan, 38, were arrested by U.S. Marshals in Miami on July 18. They are dual U.S. and UK citizens. A detention hearing is scheduled for August 13 to determine if the brothers can be released on bail while they contest extradition.

Federal Magistrate Judge Lauren Louis has set deadlines for legal filings regarding bail, with Tate's team needing to submit a motion by August 5 and prosecutors responding by August 10. This means the brothers will remain in jail for at least two more weeks. They deny all allegations against them, with Tate's social media posts labeling him a "political prisoner."

The White House has stated it will not intervene on behalf of the Tate brothers, despite their alignment with the MAGA movement. Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt rejected the possibility of White House assistance when asked about the matter.
